Posted a rant about my ban on Oatcake then thought fuck it, and there is no delete button.

FFS, you got banned? I saw a poll you were trying to start when I logged on at lunchtime but it had gone by the time I looked - what was it about and is that why you got banned?

They banned you ? any explanation ?

However in light of what happened last night is it any suprise ?

Fuck it, may as well just post the rant anyway.

Probably not a suprise as such Dave, but all I did was stick to my guns, I asked on several threads and pm'd admin twice asking why a photo of Joseph Fritzl was worse than threads about raping female members of the board, or for instance people like Boslem posting merely to have a pop at Sal for being disabled.

As you all know, my poll was deleted, my threads were deleted and so were my posts, so I think to myself "fuck off" and I re-post my avatar, once again it is removed this time with a message saying "i have removed your avatar twice, it is sick so dont make me do it again". Once again I ask why is it sick compared to other messages, I was told basically "no Joseph Fritzl", so I posted a picture of Elizabeth Fritzl instead, and next thing I know i'm banned

Ah well, if he'd have told me straight away and given me a reason why it was so bad then i'd have accepted it, however when you dont get a reason and your threads are deleted to avoid making the board look like twats you get a rebellious streak.

My poll was one of those quite stupid things where I was trying to make a point, basically it was a which of these is worse ... it included vile things ive seen on the oatcake, and obviously (because I can) I made it where my avatar was the least offensive of the 6.

Did I get an answer? Nope, deleted! I'm not one to protest but when they turn a blind eye when you are merely questioning a decision is pathetic, especially when his job is to try and make guidelines clear.

Every post I made where I questioned the decision was deleted - does this show that the Admin himself couldnt come up with a valid reason?

Well, obviously I know which one of those is the worst crime imo... I don't know why that arsehole got to me but he really did, he had another go more recently but I just binned it.

There's just a house rule of Admin's decisions being Admin's decisions. On balance it works I think, drawing lines and so on, but it only takes a minute to have a conversation about something so it does seem a pity that doesn't happen more...

I'm getting a mega bug at the moment on here of repeated text, is anyone else??
